PE Global is currently recruiting for a Import-Export Administrator / Trade Customs Clerk to join a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment based in Peterlee.
This is a part-time role 18hours per week for 12 months contract, based on site 3 days a week in Peterlee. Rates are £16.62 ph PAYE or £22.46 Umbrella.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities
* Import/Export Compliance
* Day To Day activities
* Clearance Instructions
* Reviewing customs documentation
* HMRC compliance
* Data management for commodity codes
* Data entry on a Duty management system
Education/Experience
* Import / Export Customs compliance experience
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Effective communication
* Managing multiple priorities
* Relationship management with 3rd party service providers, HMRC, Technical Tax & Trade Central team, various business teams and support services (such as IT)
* SAP Knowledge would be beneficial
