Job Description
CT Technologists are responsible for:
1. Explaining radiographic procedures to patients and collecting accurate patient histories.
2. Performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including room preparation as needed.
3. Entering patient and exam data accurately into the Radiology Information System.
Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Qualifications for this position include:
1. 1-3 months of experience and/or training required.
2. Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
3. ARRT certification required.

Schedule Information and Requirements:
1. Shifts are 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a.
2. Staff is required to rotate weekends every third week, with a Monday workday (consider clarifying if this should be included in the posting).
3. Other shifts are self-scheduled, with 2 Fridays required in a 6-week period.
4. On-call is self-scheduled, covering all locations for 3-4 shifts in 6 weeks.
5. Staff must work 2 holidays per year, with on-call holidays assigned by leadership.
6. Training at all locations and on all scanners is required.
