Band 6 – Multi-disciplinary Pathway Worker (RMN/OT/SW/CBT Therapist)
Overview
Essentially a CAMHS practitioner working with children and adolescents up to age 18, with a focus on a multi-disciplinary approach to mental health and behavioural difficulties. The role is located within the Children and Young People's Mental Health Service of NELFT.
Responsibilities
* Conduct CAMHS assessments to inform formulation, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
* Maintain a caseload of children and adolescents with complex mental‑health needs and provide evidence‑based interventions.
* Deliver a range of evidence‑based clinical interventions and support development of additional treatment modalities.
* Establish close working relationships with multidisciplinary team members and partnership agencies (e.g. Social Services, Education).
* Engage young people independently, applying strong clinical, therapeutic and case‑management skills.
* Involve in CPD opportunities, in‑service teaching and supervision within the team and the Trust.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Experience as a CAMHS practitioner with children and adolescents presenting with mental health and behavioural difficulties.
* Knowledge of evidence‑based practice in child mental health and a demonstrated interest in multi‑agency work.
* Strong independent working ability and good therapeutic and case‑management skills.

Induction and Support
New starters join on the first Monday of each month and undergo a comprehensive two‑week induction, including mandatory training, systems training and equipment allocation. The induction is held at the head office in Rainham, Essex, and includes opportunities to meet senior managers and participate in health and well‑being drop‑in sessions.
