Educational Teaching Assistant - All Saints Catholic College
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Educational Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting learning and building positive relationships with children with a range of needs, and who has the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience to do so.
Hours: 31 hours 30 minutes term time plus 1 day – Monday and Friday 8:45am‑3:15pm, Tuesday‑Thursday 8:45am‑3:45pm
Location: All Saints Catholic College, Specialist in Humanities, Bradley Bar, Huddersfield, HD2 2JT
Grade: 6
Salary: £18,597 – £19,822 (31.5 hours)
Responsibilities
* Implement and oversee agreed learning activities with individual and small groups of students, in or out of the classroom.
* Assist in the planning, preparation and delivery of learning activities.
* Monitor students, assess, record and report on achievement, progress and development under the direction of the class teacher.
* Work collaboratively and flexibly with staff and key parents, demonstrating a respectful and caring attitude towards everyone in school.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience of working with children in a school environment.
* Appropriate literacy and numeracy skills to support students.
* Experience of supporting students with emotional and social needs is an advantage.
* Desire to secure the best outcomes for young people with SEND.
