Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 17:00pm

A leading food manufacturing business in Rochester is seeking a driven and people focused Hygiene Manager to join their site leadership team. What You Will Be Doing
• Lead, motivate and support the hygiene team to deliver safe, compliant and efficient hygiene operations
• Manage all day to day hygiene activity across the site and ensure full compliance with food safety, quality and audit standards
• Plan and deliver effective cleaning schedules that meet internal and external requirements
• Work closely with Production, Technical and Quality teams to maintain site standards and quickly address any hygiene related issues
• Lead hygiene audits and inspections and ensure all corrective actions are implemented and closed out
• Ensure COSHH, Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures are always followed
• Drive continuous improvement across hygiene processes, chemical usage and cleaning techniques

Your Background
• Experience within food manufacturing in a hygiene, quality or technical management or supervisory role
• Strong understanding of hygiene standards, food safety and audit expectations within manufacturing
• Comfortable working hands on in a fast paced factory environment
• Confident communicator with strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and drive standards
• Motivated mindset with a passion for maintaining a safe, hygienic and well run site
