Senior Engineer – Earthworks & General Civils (12-Month Contract) Location: Suffolk Contract Type: 12 Months Start Date: September 25 About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer for a 12-month contract. This role focuses on earthworks and general civil engineering, supporting the delivery of one of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure developments. Key Responsibilities Lead engineering activities across earthworks, groundworks, and civil infrastructure. Manage site operations including bulk excavation, drainage, and concrete works. Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and project specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors, site teams, and project stakeholders. Review technical documentation and support design resolution. Monitor progress and contribute to timely project delivery. Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Strong experience in earthworks and civils on major infrastructure projects. Knowledge of UK construction standards and CDM regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and relevant engineering tools.
