Vehicle Technician / Motor Engineer Required in Guildford for Family Run Car Garage

Duties for this Vehicle Technician role will include:
9. Conduct advanced diagnostics using modern equipment
10. Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, servicing, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
11. Support and mentor junior technicians to develop team skills
12. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and quality controls
13. Complete MOT testing if certified, and manage related paperwork efficiently
14. Support the workshop in delivering exceptional customer service
15. Maintain a safe and organised working environment
Candidate requirements needed for the Vehicle Technician role:
16. NVQ Level 3 or higher in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent qualification
17. Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
18. Strong diagnostic skills, with proficiency in interpreting fault codes
19. Full UK driving licence
20. MOT Tester certification is advantageous but not essential
21. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
22. Ability to work independently and support team development
