Service Care Solutions is working in partnership with a growing local authority, based in Norfolk, which is looking to recruit an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer. The successful candidate must be confident working autonomously and delivering high-quality legal advice across the entire remit of Adult Social Care law. Role: Adult Social Care Lawyer Location: Norfolk – hybrid/remote Umbrella Rate: £55 - £60ph PAYE Inc. Rate: £47.96 - £52.30ph Contract Length: 3 months ongoing Key Responsibilities: Managing a busy and varied Adult Social Care caseload from instruction to completion with minimal supervision. Providing expert legal advice on matters including: Care Act 2014 duties and responsibilities Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Safeguarding and judicial review matters Ordinary residence disputes Court of Protection applications and proceedings Conducting advocacy where required or managing external counsel. Key Requirements: Be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with 3 or more of years of PQE in Adult Social Care Law. Strong experience within a local authority setting is highly desirable. Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload self-sufficiently. Benefits: Hybrid/remote working – office attendance potentially once per month but could be done remotely. Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
