About The Role
In your role as a Painter & Decorator at HC-One, you will undertake painting and decorating duties to present the homes to the highest standards, helping HC-One become the First Choice Care Home in the community. You will maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment to meet the needs of Residents and Colleagues. Flexibility and responsiveness to the changing needs of the Homes are essential.
You will report immediately to the Home Manager or Person in Charge any illness of an infectious nature or accidents involving Residents, Colleagues, yourself, or others. Mandatory and role-specific training will be provided to maintain your professional knowledge and competence.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond and escalate concerns appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their roles and undertake additional training as needed.
