The Company are extremely well established with over 85 years of manufacturing experience, and is a truly British manufacturer, and is privately owned with over 200 people on site in the High Peak. They are looking to expand their engineering team once again due to increased growth in their market share. The Role The Process Support Specialist plays a key role in developing and maintaining standard work documentation (including SOPs, work instructions, and Single Point Lessons), gathering and analyzing process data, auditing operational settings, and contributing to performance improvement efforts. The position supports the ongoing enhancement of processes, with an emphasis on quality, productivity, safety, and hygiene. Key Responsibilities * Create and update SOPs, work instructions, Single Point Lessons and other elements of standard work * Support production and engineering teams in optimizing and standardizing machine settings * Structure and manage process data to ensure easy access * Audit equipment and process settings against established standards * Gather, analyze and visualize performance data to support informed decision-making * Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and performance gaps * Track and analyze key metrics such as throughput, downtime, OEE, and customer complaints * Support and participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to quality, safety, hygiene, and performance * Liaise with other functions to ensure alignment with established company standards and best practices Attributes for Success * Analytical, detail-oriented and methodical, with a strong sense of accountability. * Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment * Passion for process efficiency, safety, and quality. * Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
