ROLE: SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Focus
PAY: £85 - £100 (depending on experience)
WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4pm
START: ASAP
CONTRACT TYPE: Long term until at least July 2024, with scope to continue in September
LOCATION: Wandsworth – access by Northern line, rail & Overground
An inclusive Primary School in the Borough of Wandsworth are looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant.
There are two roles available as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
1. Working with a child in Year 3 who has suffered trauma
2. Working with a child in LKS2 who is in the process of receiving an EHCP

4. Working with a child with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis
5. Working in and out of the classroom with the child
6. Supporting with academics and SEMH check ins
7. Good record of academics – degree, A level, GCSEs
8. Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN, would be ideal
9. Calm and compassionate nature
10. Patient and adaptable to suit the needs of the child
