Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our major projects. Your primary responsibilities will include providing commercial input, preparing cost/value reports, and agreeing certification and payment of sub-contractor's accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide commercial input, including financial and contractual performance forecasts, to the management team.
* Preparation of monthly cost/value reports and commercial reports for area, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members.
* Physical measurement of works and agreement of same with client and sub-contractors.
* Agreement of certification and payment of sub-contractor's accounts against forecasts.
* Ensuring cashflow is maximised, including ensuring payments are received on time.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Educated to degree level, or have equivalent experience within a similar role.
* Working experience on NEC or IChemE Contracts.
* Experience working with Coins/Causeway/Oracle accounting systems.
* Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office, in particular Excel.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* A full valid driving licence.

Other Requirements:
This role requires a Government Security Check (SC) Clearance, which will be conducted by the Cabinet Office's United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) agency. You will also be required to undergo further pre-employment checks.
