Roche Health Care are looking to recruit a Cook/Chef to join our friendly team at our Care Home in Mirfield
Salary: £13.00phr
Hours: 3 shifts per week - 7.30-2.30pm - alternate weekends
Must have Catering experience, Care Home experience would be an advantage
We provide a range of care and support services for our older residents, some of whom have dementia.

The job in Brief:
To prepare, cook and serve quality meals and refreshments for all service users within the care home, making sure that all specialist diets are catered for. Maintain documentation of all food ordered and served within realms of service user choice. Monitor and help to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and store areas along with all equipment.
Previous experience is required. A catering qualification such as NVQ or 706/1 and 706/2 is preferred but not essential.
To hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate which is current and up to date.
Experienced in working in an environment of older people is preferred but not essential.
The cook must be experienced in cooking from basic ingredients.
Must be able to provide evidence of high-level commitment to personal development, training and education.
The applicant needs to have a genuine interest in working within a caring environment. Have an ability to communicate effectively at all levels. To be able to work as part of the team. To have excellent organisational skills is essential.
