The Opportunity & School Profile This prestigious independent school in Hertfordshire, set on extensive grounds, seeks a highly experienced Premises Manager. The role is critical in ensuring the security, upkeep, and smooth operation of a large, complex site, maintaining the school's exceptional standard of facilities across its academic and sporting estate. Core Responsibilities & Scope Strategic Management: Leading the in-house premises team, managing all contractors, and overseeing cyclical maintenance programmes for the entire site. Compliance & Safety: Full responsibility for site security, fire safety, and ensuring all statutory Health & Safety compliance across the estate. Facilities Oversight: Managing the maintenance budget and overseeing minor capital improvement projects. Compensation & Benefits Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year). Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
