Job Description
HR Business Partner, Permanent, Chester, up to £45,000, Onsite
Our client is a growing and ambitious organisation entering a key phase of evolution. As the business continues to scale and mature, there is a need to strengthen people capability through high-quality, commercially focused HR partnering. This role has been created to support that journey, working closely with leaders to embed strong people practices and enable sustainable growth.
Reporting into the HR Manager, this role will operate as a trusted business partner to designated areas of the organisation. You will work closely with senior leaders and line managers to provide strategic and pragmatic people advice, supporting organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and leadership capability. Alongside partnering activity, you will lead on complex employee relations matters, support change initiatives, and ensure consistent delivery of core HR processes including performance, engagement and talent activity. The role is predominantly site-based, with travel to other locations approximately twice per month.
You will be an experienced HR professional operating at Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level, with a strong understanding of employment law and best practice. Comfortable working in an operational, fast-paced environment, you will bring credibility, confidence and sound judgement, with the ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels. You will take a proactive, solutions-focused approach, balancing commercial priorities with a people-centred mindset. CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) and a full UK driving licence are essential.
This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to deepen their business partnering experience, gain exposure to organisational change, and play a meaningful role in shaping the people agenda of a growing business. You will join a collaborative team where your contribution will be visible, valued and impactful.
