Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are recruiting a Teacher of Physics to join The Mary Erskine School on a temporary basis from 14 August 2025 until August 2026 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). The role is full-time, term-time, with remuneration on the ESMS Teaching Staff Salary Scale A (full-time salary range £34,508 - £49,977 per annum). We may also accommodate this as a part-time role for the right candidate. The position is based at the Ravelston site.
The successful candidate must be GTCS-registered, hold a subject-specific degree, and be familiar with Scottish qualifications. They should be an excellent practitioner, highly organized, capable of multitasking, and able to foster positive relationships within the school community.
