MEP Project Lead
The MEP Project Lead is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, delivery, and management of all Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) services on a £75m construction project.
The role ensures MEP systems are designed, coordinated, installed, commissioned, and handed over safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Working as part of the senior project leadership team, the MEP Project Lead will manage subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful integration of building services with the overall construction programme.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
* Lead the delivery of all MEP works across the project lifecycle from design development through to commissioning and handover.
* Provide technical leadership and coordination of all building services disciplines.
* Support the Project Director in delivering the project safely, on time, and within budget.
* Represent the main contractor in all MEP-related client and consultant meetings.
Design & Coordination
1. Manage the MEP design development process ensuring compliance with employer's requirements, statutory regulations, and project specifications.
