DESIGN MANAGER - DRYWALL & CEILINGS - SHOREDITCH
A fantastic opportunity to join a real people orientated business who are looking for a Design Manager to join their team. Based in East London, the Design Manager will be working in a team of 3 on drywall and ceiling projects alongside top tier main contractors.
Key responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of the project CAD requirements, including the production of working layouts, sections, elevations, and details
* Setting up of design office standards and user technologies, interfacing with CAD libraries and menu groups
* Enabling construction solutions through product selection
* Enabling auto scheduling functions for manufacturing and order processing
* Supply technical support for all CAD software

Skills and requirements
* Excellent knowledge and skills using AutoCAD
* Knowledge of BG drywall systems and current Building Safety Act legislative requirements
* The ability to provide CAD/BIM/3D drawings and designs, for partitioning projects
* Strong technical ability, and knowledge of dry lining, partitioning, and suspended ceiling systems
* Confidence in leading the project design
* Skilled in the preparation of reports, designs, contracts, and specification documents
* The ability to review technical designs, to ensure projects are kept on programme
An organised and tidy approach to work, and able to adapt to the construction programme.
