The Solar Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily performance, maintenance, and operational integrity of solar energy installations. This includes utility-scale solar farms, commercial rooftop systems, or distributed generation networks. The role ensures maximum uptime, performance, safety, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations and maintenance (O&M) of solar PV installations Monitor system performance using SCADA and solar monitoring platforms Lead response to faults, alarms, and outages; ensure rapid resolution Oversee subcontractors and field technicians during maintenance and repairs Develop and implement operational KPIs, reporting systems, and performance metrics Maintain compliance with safety standards, regulations, and environmental policies Coordinate asset management, site inspections, and documentation Support project commissioning, warranty claims, and client reporting Work with engineering, finance, and construction teams for lifecycle support ✅ Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field Good experience in solar PV operations, maintenance, or asset management Strong knowledge of solar technology, inverters, and monitoring systems Familiarity with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) protocols Excellent organizational and team leadership skills Strong data analysis and reporting abilities Proficiency with solar monitoring tools (e.g., AlsoEnergy, SolarEdge, SMA) Valid driver's license (if site travel is required) Preferred: Experience with utility-scale or commercial solar plants Electrical or technical certifications (e.g., NABCEP, IEE) Knowledge of grid connection procedures and compliance What We Offer: Competitive salary performance bonus Opportunity to lead in a growing renewable energy company Training and career development opportunities Contribution to a cleaner, sustainable future
