The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Professional Construction Lecturer to join the Construction and Motor Vehicle team, on a part-time hourly paid basis. The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington and Rossendale College but will be required to travel across sites. This post could suit an experienced practitioner looking for their next challenge or a newly qualified teacher looking to make their mark within an Outstanding organisation.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be delivering T Level Design, Surveying and Planning and Civil Engineering. We are particularly interested in attracting an individual with graduate knowledge and skills in CAD/Revit, Quantity Surveying and material science.
What We Are Looking For
* 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
* A professional with a degree or higher in construction/architecture/surveying and design or similar
* Experience of working in the sector and willingness to complete outward facing engagement activities with schools and employers
* Flexibility to teach in the evenings
