. Post No. POSN005054 - Community Information Officer This is an exciting opportunity to join the Place Based Team within the Prevention and Inclusion Service at Newport City Council. We are looking to recruit the above post within the team. The post will be working to the set objectives as per the Job Description. Post available: - Community Information Officer 30 hours per week, fixed term until 31 March 2028. The successful candidates will be part of an integrated team, working in partnership with all local services. Developing provision and delivering services aligned with the needs of the communities within Newport. The successful candidate will be passionate about empowering individuals and communities and have experience in planning, leading, organising and evaluating projects. They will also have strong communication and organisational skills, with proven ability to work with a diverse range of individuals and organisations. We are looking for someone who is a good listener and enjoys working with people. Someone who is a team player but able to work on their own initiative, and able to work flexibly and manage a busy schedule of meetings, sessions and events, some of which may be in the evenings or at weekends.
