Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Thurnscoe
Pay Rate: £95 – £113 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming school in Thurnscoe. In this role of CS, you will ensure continuity of learning when teachers are absent and provide support across a variety of subjects and classes.
As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and on task during lessons.
* Implementing the planned learning activities and maintaining classroom routines.
* Supporting students with additional needs when required.
* Maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you should:
* Have experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
* Be confident, organised, and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
* Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
