We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals that exceed our guests' expectations. You will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and customer preferences
* Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
* Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices
* Serve meals in an appealing manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards
Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal preparation
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is highly desirable
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
* A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continually improve skills

Pay: £12.44-£15.55 per hour
