Join our team as Sous Chef
Are you bold, driven towards excellence, guided by intuition, and grounded in empathy? If so, we want you to join our team at The Twenty Two.
The Role
As a Sous Chef, you will:
Support the Head Chef in leading daily kitchen operations across all outlets.
Oversee preparation, cooking, and service to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
Train, mentor, and supervise junior chefs, leading by example at all times.
Contribute to menu development, tastings, and seasonal updates.
Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships in line with budget.
Take charge of the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence, maintaining standards and efficiency.

The Twenty Two is a luxury lifestyle hotel located on Londons historic Grosvenor Square. Our property, set within a listed Edwardian manor, combines cultural elegance with modern charm. We offer an all-day public restaurant and a private members club with 31 bedrooms and suites.
About You
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture.
You will have:
Previous experience above 4 years as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a luxury or high-end kitchen.
Strong culinary skills and creativity, with excellent product knowledge.
A proven track record in leading teams and managing busy services.
High standards of cleanliness, organisation, and allergen management.
Excellent communication skills and a calm, solution-focused approach.
Flexibility to work split shifts, evenings, and weekends as required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead sections of the kitchen and ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
Supervise, train, and motivate junior chefs.
Support planning and execution of daily menus and specials.
Maintain stock control, food safety, and HACCP compliance.
Work with the Head Chef on costings, budgets, and supplier management.
Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations, even under pressure.

Holiday entitlement increases: 2 days at 2 years length of service, and a further 3 days at 5 years length of service, prorated to your contract hours
Long service award schemes: 5 years (Silver Status, Meal in the Restaurant, TTT embroidered Bathrobe), 10 years (Gold Status, a stay in our sister property with flights with partner), 15 years (Platinum Status watch this space)
