We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Children’s Home Manager to lead a 3-bed EBD home and continue delivering exceptional outcomes for young people.
The home was rated “Good” in all areas at its latest Ofsted inspection, so you’ll be stepping into a well-run, stable and successful service. The long-term vision is to help young people transition into supported living, equipping them with the confidence and life skills they need to thrive.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in children’s residential care
* A passion for improving the lives of young people with EBD
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* A child-focused approach, putting the wellbeing of our young people at the heart of everything you do
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People or equivalent
As Deputy Manager, you will
* Support and develop a dedicated care team
* Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards
* Champion a nurturing, safe and positive environment for children
* Work closely with external professionals, families and the local community
* Drive forward the home’s ethos of making every day matter for the children in our care
This is a family-run business where the children come first. The group’s ethos is about creating a real home, where young people feel valued, supported and able to enjoy life. They regularly provide incentives and activities such as trips to the boxing gym, hairdressers or salon to reward positive behaviour and promote self-confidence.
You’ll be joining a service where your passion and dedication will be recognised and celebrated.
