Fire & Security Engineering Tutor Location: Greater London Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 per annum Start Date: ASAP (or when filled) Hours: Full-time (Mon–Fri office based, with WFH on Mondays) A highly regarded, specialist training provider in Greater London is looking for a Fire & Security Engineering Tutor to deliver their Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship programme. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional ready to take their next step into education—or an established tutor looking for a new challenge. The Role: Deliver structured teaching and assessment across Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician standards. Supervise and support apprentice engineers in both technical and personal development. Plan and deliver engaging, technically accurate lessons with hands-on learning opportunities. Contribute to curriculum development and progress planning. Maintain accurate records and adhere to quality standards. About You: Strong practical experience in Fire & Security installation, commissioning, and maintenance. Deep technical knowledge in one or more of: SIA, FireQual, Milestone Advanced, or equivalent. Confident in delivering practical and theory-based learning. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ideally, hold a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work toward one). Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience is essential. Willing to travel occasionally to support delivery needs.
