We are seeking a Recruitment and Talent Advisor to play a key role in shaping our workforce by connecting passionate professionals with purposeful work.
About the role
This is an end-to-end recruitment role where you will partner closely with hiring managers to attract, engage, and onboard talent across the organisation.
You will be responsible for delivering a seamless and respectful recruitment experience, while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with VALS' values and cultural integrity.
Key responsibilities
* Manage full-cycle recruitment including advertising, sourcing, screening, and onboarding
* Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
* Proactively source candidates using diverse channels and contemporary tools
* Coordinate interviews and support fair, consistent selection processes
* Maintain accurate and compliant recruitment documentation and HRIS records
* Ensure a positive and culturally respectful candidate experience
* Build and maintain talent pipelines for future workforce needs
* Provide guidance on best practice recruitment and selection
* Support inclusive hiring practices and diversity initiatives
* Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure consistent service delivery
About you
You are an organised and people-focused recruitment professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes. You build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and bring a thoughtful, inclusive approach to your work.
You will bring:
* At least 2 years' experience in recruitment (internal or agency)
* Experience using ATS or HRIS systems
* Strong understanding of recruitment compliance and data management
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to manage multiple roles with attention to detail
* A genuine interest in connecting people with meaningful work
* Commitment to culturally safe and inclusive recruitment practices
