Overview:
Providea professional service to all internal and external customers ofthe Bank and to ensure that the day to day processing of the BanksPayments and Treasury transactions are completed with accuracy andin an efficientmanner.
WhatYou Will BeDoing:
* ProcessTreasury FX & MM transactions promptly and accuratelyensuring all deals have been checked against the dealersbroker/reuters conversations and have a matching swift confirmationprior to releasing payments.
* Processingsecurity transactions on internal and external systems includingthe accurate input of bond static manual processing of RFRs and thetimely matching and settlement of securities on our custodiansystems.
* Monitoring clearing status of newlyexecuted Interest Rate Swap trades ensuring deals are clearedthrough the LCH via our clearing broker within regulatorytimeframes.
* Accurate processing of InterestSwap transactions in our back office system including the checkingof cashflow schedules to the dealers records booking upfront feesand accurately processing rate resets throughout the life of thetrade.
* Daily monitoring and settlement ofvariation margin and initial margin requirements with our clearingbroker pertaining to our centrally cleared interest rate swaps.Ensuring our clearing brokers daily margin call statement agrees toour own internal records.
* Daily monitoring andsettlement of margin ensuring that all margin obligations are metfor our CSA and GMRA counterparties. Prompt escalation of margindisputes/differences to Treasury and MarketRisk.
* Accurate processing of inward and outwardpayments for our customers and Treasury transactions. Ensuring thatall payments are processed prior to currency cut off times and thatall relevant departments are informed of receipt of funds in atimely manner.
* Daily position keeping of allcurrencies including the daily reconciliation of statements fromcorrespondent banks and nostro projection for upcoming payments.Notifying Treasury dealers of their positions within agreedtimeframes.
* Monitor and update the Swift GPItracker for London and Paris ensuring compliance to SWIFT GPI andUniversal Confirmation results.
* ProcessingLibyan payments instructions ensuring all sanction checks areperformed in accordance with departmental procedures and the bankspolicy.
* Daily nostro reconciliation. Reviewingand promptly resolving any outstanding items over the nostroensuring detailed commentary has been provided and that aging itemsare promptly escalated to Head ofDepartment.
* Ensure the departments proceduredocuments are regularly reviewed and kept up to date.
* Identify process improvement initiativeswithin the department and work with the team and the Head ofTreasury Admin to implement changes and support in Lean Six SigmaJourney
* Resolve any queries received frominternal and external stakeholders in a timely manner escalatingwhen required.
* Work closely with Colleaguesacross all other functions to maintain a cohesive teamethos.
* To assist Manager and team members suchas Audit requests and assist with other activities as and whenrequired.
* Support the Head of TreasuryAdministration with projects system changes and working to improveautomation and STP within thedepartment
CandidateSpecification:
* Soundunderstanding of Treasury Products and life cycleevents.
* Collateral Management ExperiencePertaining to CSAs & GMRAs
* Goodknowledge of Swift messages including MT202 MT103 MT320MT300
* Minimum 2 years experience in TreasuryOperations department preferably acquired within an internationalbanking environment.
* Experience with collateralmanagement both bilateral and centrallycleared
* Swift payment processing both incomingand outgoing
* Understanding of regulatoryrequirements i.e. EMIR MiFID CSDR would beadvantageous.
* Good communicationSkills
* Ability to work well under pressureoften to tight deadlines
* Able to performmultiple tasksconcurrently.
