We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly dynamic dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Take and develop radiographs (X-rays) as needed for diagnostic purposes.
* Assist in the diagnosis of dental conditions by evaluating medical histories and performing assessments.
* Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and progress.
* Collaborate with dentists to develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Experience
* A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene is required.
* Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not essential for newly qualified hygienists.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
