Job Introduction
Role Purpose
The Windows Visualiser is a key creative contributor to Selfridges’ world-renowned window displays. Working closely with the Windows Set Design Manager, this role brings concepts to life by producing exceptional 3D visuals that clearly communicate creative intent, support design development, and enable world-class execution across all stores.
The Visualiser plays an essential part in shaping Selfridges’ aesthetic, delivering high-quality renderings that enhance storytelling, support cross-departmental collaboration, and strengthen the brand’s position as an industry leader in creative innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Visualisation & Creative Development
1. Produce high-quality 3D visuals for Selfridges' window schemes, (VM sites, and atrium spaces if needed)
2. Support concept development by creating impactful, well-composed visuals that communicate design intent clearly and effectively.
3. Translate ideas, sketches, and briefs into visually compelling renderings with a simple, strong message.
4. Create realistic images using a wide range of visual references, materials, and design information.
5. Collaborate closely with the Set Design Manager and Windows Lead to understand and accurately interpret creative briefs.
6. Support with Corner Shop window visuals as required.
Technical & Production Support
7. Build and maintain an organised library of 3D models, templates, and spatial files for all key Selfridges creative spaces.
8. Produce visuals that reflect the real-world constraints of spatial design, materials, and production methods.
9. Liaise with regional teams to support localisation of window concepts and visual requirements.
10. Ensure all visuals meet Selfridges' creative standards and production feasibility requirements.
Workflow & Time Management
11. Manage personal workload effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
12. Communicate clearly about visualisation timelines, progress, and practical constraints.
13. Prioritise tasks and deliver against multiple concurrent briefs.
14. Make informed visual decisions independently when required.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications / Training
15. Degree or training in:Graphic DesignInterior DesignArchitecture3D Design
Technical Skills
16. Proficiency in Cinema 4D (core program used by the team).
17. Blender and Rhino software also useful to have
18. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
19. Strong 3D modelling, rendering, and spatial layout skills.
20. PC and Mac literate.
21. Ability to manage databases, asset libraries, and personal storage systems effectively.
