Job Summary
HCT is looking for a part‑time Physiotherapist to provide 9‑month maternity cover commencing after 1st May 2026. The role is based within the Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust and involves delivering rehabilitation services to patients in their home environment across East and North Hertfordshire.
Key Details
* Part‑time, 9‑month maternity cover starting after 1st May 2026.
* Typical hours: 8 am–6 pm Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm weekends – weekend rota contribution required.
* Coverage across East and North Hertfordshire, with possible travel to all localities.
* Travel costs covered as per the Travel and Expenses policy.

Responsibilities
* Deliver physiotherapy assessments and treatment to vulnerable patients with complex needs in their home environment.
* Support patient‑led goal setting and community‑based rehabilitation.
* Provide clinical leadership and support to the multidisciplinary team to avoid inappropriate hospital admissions and support hospital discharge.
Qualifications & Criteria
* Full, valid driving licence.
* Access to a private car for regular business use (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
