NHS Grampian (NHSG) Podiatry service is a modern and innovative service within NHSG, providing a comprehensive range of foot health services to a diverse community. We offer regular protected learning time, encouraging all Podiatrists to develop their clinical and professional skills as part of their personal development plan, with access to postgraduate training and development.
Due to a recent redesign of NHSG Musculoskeletal (MSK) Foot and Ankle Services, we now have an exciting opportunity to join our Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Team. We are looking to fill a full-time permanent Advanced Podiatrist, Band 7 post (salary range: £48,788 to £56,747 per annum).
This role will be a key part of NHSG MSK Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Service, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The position is based at Woodend Out-patient Orthopaedic Department, Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP). Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Development and evaluation of the service against local targets.
* Leading clinical support and staff appraisal across all grades.
* Working with multi-professional teams to ensure coordinated care for patients with complex MSK foot conditions.
* Providing specialist training, education, and development for staff within the Podiatry team and wider health and social care teams on MSK foot and ankle conditions.
* Triaging all MSK foot and ankle referrals for NHSG Foot and Ankle Service.
