The Governors of St Raphael's are seeking to appoint a permanent Midday Assistants to work for 5 hours per week (term time only Monday to Friday pm)
The successful candidate will join our hard-working team in supervising and creating play opportunities for our happy, friendly children. We welcome applications from enthusiastic and adaptable team-players who enjoy working with children. Previous experience of working with children would be an advantage but is not necessary.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of working with children
Is able to relate well to children and adults
Is able to help children to enjoy their lunchtime through supporting activities and games
Is able to work constructively as part of a team
Is committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of our school
Has awareness of safety within the school environment

St Raphael's is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced DBS clearance and sign a CES contract.

Applications must be made on a Catholic Education Service Application Form which is available to download. Completed CES Application forms should be returned to the school office marked for the attention of Mrs L Lakner, Headteacher. A paper copy can be collected from the school.
