Job Role
5. Preparation and production of high-quality foods
6. Play a crucial part in the operation of events.
7. Assisting Head Chef with ordering, stock rotation and menu creation
8. Supervising and mentoring team members
9. Leading and inspiring the team.
10. Training new kitchen employees on the restaurant’s standards and regulations
11. Ensuring the highest level of food hygiene in the kitchen
12. Ensure health and safety legislation is complied with in the Kitchen areas.
13. In-depth knowledge of the kitchen’s routines and utensils
Your Skills and Experience
14. Driving license and access to your own vehicle
15. At least 2-3 years event catering experience preferred.
16. Knowledge of food preparation methods and presentation
17. Full understanding and proven experience of H+S and EHO requirements
18. Standards driven, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
19. Strong leadership skills
20. Experience of liaising with suppliers and ordering
21. Strong organisational and administrative kitchen management skills
22. Ability to work well under pressure and to specific time frames.
