We are seeking a number of friendly and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our growing team at the Laurus Trust, within a number of our Schools. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in supporting students with a variety of learning needs. You'll work alongside teachers to provide one-on-one or small group support, and empower students to reach their full potential.

Here at the Laurus Trust we are able to provide a cutting-edge SEND provision that has a positive impact on our young people, and we are currently looking to recruit caring and dedicated individuals to join our SEND team. You will play a vital role in enhancing students progress whilst promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. A comprehensive offer of professional learning is in place and we ensure that all schools have designated work spaces for staff. A broad range of training in SEND is in place across all our schools focused on whole school SEND issues as well as specific training for SEND teams.

Job Purpose

* Work with Teachers to enhance student progress, whilst also promoting their independence, self esteem and Social inclusion.
* Support identified students within the classroom environment, within small group situations and on a one to one basis

Key Skills and Experiences

* Sound Educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
* Experience of working with young people who are vulnerable and/or who have a special educational needs
* Experience working in a school environment would be an advantage

Pay: £11,765.00-£20,964.00 per year
