Job Role
A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Maintenance Engineer has come to the forefront. This is an engineer’s dream to work in a state‑of‑the‑art, fully automated, fast‑paced factory. The site has recently received new investment, making it an excellent place for any maintenance engineer who wishes to develop their career technically or into management.
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, and planned preventive maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. The role also involves supporting and leading a team of engineers on shift, helping to drive performance, safety, continuous improvement, and engineering standards across the factory.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements
* Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
* Hands‑on experience with pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast‑paced industrial factory.
* Previous experience leading or supervising engineers within a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
* Hands‑on electrical fault‑finding experience.
* Recognised electrical engineering qualification.
* Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to support team performance, mentoring and shift coordination.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
* Experience within food manufacturing, bakery or FMCG environments.
* Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
