Security Clearance Requirements
Holding a current Security Clearance is not essential at the time of application, but eligibility is required.
This role requires the successful candidate to be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance. To meet this requirement, applicants must:
* Have the right to work in the UK
* Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years
* Not have spent more than 6 months outside the UK in total during that period
* Be willing to undergo security vetting as part of the onboarding process

You’re a commercially aware Contracts professional with experience managing contracts, suppliers, and procurement activity in a fast‑paced environment. You’re confident handling multiple priorities at once and understand the importance of accuracy, compliance, and strong stakeholder relationships. You’ve likely spent a few years working across contract management or procurement and are now looking to take the next step, building on your experience and broadening your impact. You’re organised, detail-focused, and proactive, with a mindset geared towards improving processes and supporting teams to deliver effectively.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Contracts & Commercial team, supporting the day‑to‑day management of contracts and procurement activity across the business. This is a varied role covering the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, quotations, and supplier management, alongside supporting tender and framework activity. You’ll work closely with Account Managers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure contracts are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with compliance requirements. This role is a great opportunity to build on your existing experience and develop further within a busy, growing environment.
About the Team
You’ll be joining a small but high‑demand Contracts team within a wider Shared Services function. The team plays a key role in supporting critical services delivered to law enforcement and government organisations, working closely with multiple stakeholders across the business. You’ll report to the Head of Contracts, work alongside another Contracts Manager, and support the development of a Contracts Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, quotations, and procurement activity
* Support internal teams with contractual and procurement guidance
* Manage supplier and customer relationships, including onboarding and ongoing support
* Support tender and framework submissions
* Maintain accurate and compliant contract documentation and data
* Manage purchase orders, payments, and contractual obligations
* Contribute to contract and account review meetings
* Support process improvements across contract and procurement activities
* Assist in the day‑to‑day support and development of the Contracts Assistant

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Contracts Manager with a solid foundation in contract management and/or procurement. This role is well suited to someone with around 3+ years’ experience who is looking to grow and develop within a broader commercial function.
Essential Experience & Skills
* Experience in contract management and/or procurement
* Experience managing contracts, suppliers, and renewals
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Commercial awareness and problem‑solving ability
* Experience working with contract or procurement systems
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Public sector procurement or contract management experience
* Understanding of IT procurement or contracting
* Experience supporting tenders or frameworks
* Exposure to regulated or secure environments
* Professional membership (e.g. MCIPS)
