Overview
Geography & Humanities Teacher - Autism & SEMH School (Mole Valley). Location: Mole Valley, Surrey. Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time. Start Date: September 2025 (or January 2026). Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications - QTS and unqualified teachers welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and accessible Geography and Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and differentiate lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs
* Foster positive relationships and create a nurturing learning environment
* Work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team including therapists, SENCOs and pastoral staff
About You / Qualifications
* Experience teaching students with SEND, particularly Autism and/or SEMH, is essential
* QTS is desirable but unqualified teachers with relevant experience are warmly encouraged to apply
* Strong behaviour management skills and a flexible, compassionate teaching style
* A subject specialism in Geography and/or Humanities with creative approaches to curriculum delivery
