Project Manager – Band 7 (Fixed term)
We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our small but dynamic innovation team. This is an exciting role focused on developing and evaluating new technology with industry and academic colleagues, designed to improve the delivery of health and social care.
Candidates must be able to evidence a good working knowledge of project management tools and techniques, with demonstrable experience in leading multiple project simultaneously. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as excellent interpersonal skills are essential. The candidate should be well organised, self-motivated and be prepared to work autonomously to deliver the range of projects assigned to them.
The Planning, Innovation & Programmes Directorate offers a friendly, supportive environment with an emphasis on team and individual development and wellbeing. The Innovation Hub adopt a flexible mix of home and office working, however, most in-person meetings will take place in Aberdeen and often the team will be required to travel out of area to attend events and workshops so a willingness to travel is essential.
The post is for 12 months and is available as either fixed term or secondment (with agreement from your current line manager).
