A leading offshore wind programme is seeking a Lead Consent Manager to support its Transmission DCO application through the Examination and determination phases. Candidates with experience in DCO processes, linear infrastructure development, and/or renewable energy projects are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage a range of onshore and offshore consenting elements throughout the DCO Examination phase.

2. Coordinate and oversee consultants delivering input on relevant EIA topics.

3. Lead stakeholder engagement related to your assigned areas, ensuring accurate and consistent messaging.

5. Work closely with adjacent project teams to ensure consistency and interface management across EIA topics.

6. Identify and communicate consenting risks to senior leads and workstream managers.

7. Support Ground Investigation Survey work with relevant consent and environmental guidance.

Key Tasks:

8. Lead preparation and delivery of Examination materials, including Statements of Common Ground and responses to the Examining Authority (written and oral).

9. Ensure timely and budget-aligned delivery of offshore and onshore consents.

10. Influence examination strategy within assigned EIA topics to mitigate risks and align with project objectives.

11. Maintain proactive risk management and reporting across all relevant consenting aspects.

12. Deliver high-level external stakeholder engagement and finalise Statements of Common Ground.

13. Provide expert advice on environmental and consent matters to support project decision-making.

14. Support land access arrangements in coordination with the Land Manager.

Requirements:

15. Strong experience in DCO Examination processes, ideally on complex linear or renewable energy projects.

16. Deep understanding of EIA regulations and stakeholder engagement in infrastructure development.

17. Ability to manage consultants and lead across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

18. Excellent communication, risk management, and strategic delivery skills.

This is a high-impact role within a major offshore wind initiative-ideal for a senior consenting professional seeking a leadership opportunity on a nationally significant project.
