Senior Support Worker – Langport - £14.06 per hour
Typical shifts are: 08:00 - 20:30 working 3 shifts a week including alternate weekends.

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service in Langport. Looking out over the Somerset levels, this beautiful old house has a warm and welcoming feel about it. Family orientated, we enable individuals with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and complex care needs including visual impairments.
Responsibilities
* Help people to gain more independence in their daily lives
* Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service
* Allocate shifts, book training and induct new colleagues
* Support with supervision and ordering medication
* Ensure people we support manage their finances effectively
* Maintain focus on why you choose to do this, keeping seniors at the heart of day-to-day support
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker
* Level 3 in Health & Social Care
* Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour of distress, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, autism and people who have experienced trauma
