Equans is looking for a Food Services Team Leader to join our team in Queen Alexandra Hospital, PO6 3LY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 35 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,159.00 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern:
Hours of work 12.00 -19:30 with half an hour break. Two week rota working every other weekend with a day off in the week (Tuesday). with Additional weekend allowances
What will you deliver?
* Responsibility and supervision of housekeepers and patient services assistants daily. Ensuring full cover is provided regarding duty rosters and allocation of work to ensure effective completion of duties in line with the performance standards.
* Supervision and control of standards of service delivered to the Trust at ward/departmental level which will include the delivery of the cleaning, along with patient food and beverage service.
* Interface and link between ward/departmental managers and services teams in relation to reactive maintenance requests. Ensure that the staff in soft services are proactive in identifying and reporting maintenance defects etc. as part of their daily duties.

Who are we looking for?
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
* Basic Health and Safety Certificate (Desirable)
* Supervisory management qualification (Desirable)
* Ability to work as part of a team (Essential)
* Experience of performance management of employees including appraisals
* Experience of working within Hotel & Catering industry and/or Facilities Management sector (Desirable)
* Experience in a supervisory capacity
* Computer literate, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
