Overview
Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking a passionate Female Relief Support Worker to join our team in Loughborough. You will work with a diverse group of people who have learning disabilities, providing support, daily assistance, and emotional backing to help them live their lives to the fullest.
Responsibilities
* Assist with daily activities and provide emotional support.
* Work with a diverse group of individuals, respecting each person’s unique abilities and needs.
* Ensure a high standard of person-centered care and support.
Qualifications / Requirements
* A genuine passion for supporting others.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
* Enhanced DBS required for the successful candidate.
* Driver is preferred but not essential.
Working Hours & Conditions
All services are 24-hour care. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance to help you plan your personal and social life.
Shifts: Days 07:00 – 22:00; Waking Nights 22:00 – 07:00
Flexibility to work the hours you choose.

Please note: This position does not meet the minimum salary requirements for a Health and Care visa under the UK Skilled Worker route, as set by the Home Office. Mencap is a licensed sponsor but cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
