The Opportunity
As a multidisciplinary Graphic Designer, you will be a key member of our marketing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality design work that is on brand and collaborating across the business to produce impactful and results-driven assets. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high quality assets which assist our international sales teams and promote EU Automation to its global audience. Spanning both print and digital applications, you will contribute to the production of everything from high-budget campaign collateral to supporting an innovative approach to our core social media channels, email activity and more. Your ability to take ownership of projects from concept to completion, adhere to briefs and maintain a high standard of creative output while managing your time effectively will be crucial to our team\'s success. In addition to your design responsibilities, you will contribute to the completion of KPIs and the development of creative strategy across both the Design and wider Marketing teams.
Responsibilities
* Take accountability for the rationale behind design decisions, clearly communicating your thought process to stakeholders.
* Present and defend design choices in a professional and articulate manner.
* Identify opportunities and explore innovative new ways of communicating with our customers and prospects through graphic design.
* Interpret, clarify and adhere to design briefs, ensuring all design work is well thought out and effectively meets the established needs of the brief.
* Perform thorough proofing of all design work to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Ensure all designs are fit for purpose and meet the highest quality standards.
* Assume full ownership of design tasks, maintaining investment in each project through to completion.
* Demonstrate a proactive approach, addressing challenges and seeking solutions independently.
* Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
* Manage and allocate your time effectively to prioritise tasks and ensure timely delivery of all design work.
* Assisting with the day-to-day running of the design team by providing input on strategy, scheduling and design direction.
* Keep up to date with the latest marketing and design industry trends and developments and use this knowledge to strengthen the department’s output.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field is desirable - Minimum of 3 years of either in-house or agency experience in a similar role -
* Experience leading on large-scale briefs and campaigns across various platforms
* Proficient in Adobe suite (including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects) and Figma.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
* Strong understanding of layout, typography, and impactful design practices.
* Ability to interpret creative briefs to meet objectives and bring innovation to all challenges presented.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and use initiative to solve problems.
* Ability to work to deadlines both independently and as part of a team.
