Opportunity to work from home post probation (not set days and depending on training needs)

This role will work with the Deputy Medical Secretary Manager to develop and deliver the strategy, operational plans and agreed actions for medical secretary and practice manager training, development and process improvement. In this role you will work with the Harley Street Campus team to identify training needs in line with operational needs and organisational priorities.

Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. It’s this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor, we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Others may think this is just a training role – but to us, you’ll be part of a dedicated team with a shared purpose: improving lives every single day.

What you'll do:

1. Design and deliver a comprehensive training programme for new starters and existing staff.

2. Deliver classroom, virtual, and one-to-one training sessions, ensuring all staff are proficient in using all systems and tools.

3. Build, test and maintain accessible training materials including e-learning modules, tip sheets, videos and podcasts.

4. Provide floating support across departments, ensuring consistent training delivery, identifying and addressing training gaps.

5. Coordinate rooms and resources for training sessions.

6. Act as a buddy for all new starters, providing guidance, support, and helping them integrate into the team and organisation.

What you'll bring:

7. Experience in training delivery within a healthcare setting, ideally with knowledge of medical secretary and practice manager roles.

8. Hands-on experience using a range of tools to create training materials.

9. Strong organisational skills from scheduling sessions to managing resources.

10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

11. Ability to build relationships and support staff through their learning journey.
