Role
We have an opportunity for candidates with Mechanical/Electrical Engineering backgrounds to join our growing organization in Dumfries or Carlisle. You will start with the Transferable Skills Programme and be trained by experienced Lift Engineers and our Technical Department to learn the company’s requirements and industry standards. Depending on your progress, you will then enroll in an NVQ Level 3 course in either Installation or Maintenance of Lifts.
What We’re Looking For
* Mechanical or Electrical background demonstrated either through education or recent work experience
* Ideally possess one of the following:
* Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
* Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations
* BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering
* The ability to follow instructions and ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times
* Willingness to develop and learn new skills
* Clean UK driving licence
