Commissioning Engineers - Gas Industry - Cheshire/UK wide travel

The Role
Work in the workshop in Cheshire and on customer sites across the UK, with potential travel up to five days a week. Tasks include:
* Undertake system commissioning/calibrations on client sites, addressing concerns arising during commissioning.
* Test communications and conduct end‑to‑end testing including Site Acceptance Tests and Factory Acceptance Tests.
* Communicate and provide technical support to the client to address customer‑specific issues.
* Provide technical support to Installation Technicians and Service Engineers to address in‑house issues, deploying all forms of communication.
* Provide commissioning advice to Design Engineers in the development of commissioning strategy and plan.
* Compile all reports and documentation and dispatch them in a timely manner as directed by the Service & Technical Support Manager.
We're Looking For
* 5+ years of commissioning experience with at least 2 years working independently.
* Gas instrumentation technical background including analyzers and various meter systems.
* Strong background in electrical/electronic engineering (HNC/HND).
* Knowledge of PLCs, pressure systems, and system fault‑finding.
* Ability to understand and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, able to advise clients on the drawings and specifications.
* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for insurance purposes.
