Equans is looking for a Cost Coordinator to join our team based in Speke on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £29,875 and benefits package.
Being a part of the Knowsley School contract and reporting to the Account Manager, you will coordinate of all finance based administrational support to Senior Management Team.
What will you deliver?
Production of regular routine reports and financial statistical data for the senior management team and finance business partner.
Regular liaison with the finance business partner relating to effective management of profit and loss.
Coordination of financial work in progress (WIP).
Collate and submit the monthly application for payment. Invoice once approved.
Align monthly tasks to finance timetable. Identify and report on any deadlines that cannot be met and their financial implication.
Control of ‘goods received’ pursuit of invoices from EQUANS supply chain.
Investigating invoices submitted eligible for payment/dispute.
Assisting supply chain with outstanding invoices arrears.
Overseeing all aspects of purchase order receipting in COUPA.
Key liaison with external and internal finance functions.
Ensure all contract variations eligible billed at the agreed fee. In collaboration with the Project Manager.
Actively monitor and chase debt, resolving any queries leading to non-payment.
Carry out other duties requested by the Account Manager to maintain the effective support of the Contract Management Team.
Maintain electronic based filing systems.
Weekly review of potential billable items and accrual reports awaiting invoice submissions.

Who are you?
Background knowledge of finance-based functions within similar area.
Strong organisational skills and willingness to adapt to a high paced work environment.
Competence of all Microsoft Office functionals (Excel, Word and Power Point).
Incentivised approach to problem solving.
Experience within the FM industry would be ideal but not essential.
This role includes a Enhanced DBS with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential.
