Job Title: Administration Assistant – Level 1 Actual Annual Salary: £22,213 per annum based on the hours and weeks worked. Full Time Salary: £25,941 - £28,275 per annum based on full time, all year round. Contract Type: Fixed Term (31/08/2026) Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week, Term Time only plus inset days Looking for an administrative role where your work will truly makes a difference to our students: We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Administration Assistant to join our supportive and talented team at The Brook Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning. Under the direction of senior staff, the Administration Assistant will provide general administrative and clerical support to the academy. They will be expected to undertake administrative tasks such as reception duties, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and ordering stationery as well as some targeted admin support for specific areas such as admissions, work experience etc. At all times, the post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the administration function within the academy. We aim to provide all our students with opportunities for widening participation and strengthening relationships to ensure high expectations in their behaviour and attitudes for personal development and achievements in their academic and vocational learning. About you: You will have: Good Literacy and numeracy competency – evidenced by GCSE Maths and English at Grade C Appropriate First Aid qualification or willing to undertake Knowledge of good practice regarding compliance/data protection/GDPR Awareness of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection Good understanding and ability to use office equipment such as photocopiers Applicants are advised to refer to the full requirements of the role in the attached job description and person specification, prior to submitting an application.
