Investment Banking Analyst - London Office Team: Wealth & Asset Management M&A and Public Company M&A, part of the European Financial Institutions Group Term: Initial 3-month placement with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role after the milestone review Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client's Investment Banking division as an Analyst. This entry-level position offers exposure to complex transactions within the Wealth & Asset Management and Public Company M&A sectors, supporting the European Financial Institutions Group. The successful candidate will work closely with senior bankers on live deals, financial modelling, valuation analysis, and preparation of client presentations. Key Responsibilities Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, due diligence, and preparation of marketing materials. Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation and strategic decision-making. Conduct industry and company research to identify trends and opportunities. Collaborate with team members across multiple geographies to deliver high-quality client solutions. Support senior bankers in client meetings and presentations. Candidate Profile Education: Degree from a leading UK institution (Oxbridge or Russell Group) in STEM or Economics disciplines. Experience: No significant prior experience required; ideal for candidates starting their careers in investment banking. Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Language: Native English speaker. Availability: Must be available for in-person interviews in London and able to commence full-time employment from January 2026 .
